How are UBC Group’s patio umbrellas and tents are made?

Frames and hardware

All of UBC Group’s heavy duty patio umbrellas and tent frames are made from specific materials — metal, aluminium and fiberglass — to match your exact needs and applications. Plastic or metal joints and hinges are selected to fit commercial umbrella standards. Once suited perfectly to you, our frames withstand different levels of wind and environmental challenges.

Fabrics and stitching

We carefully select your custom fabric and stitching with knowledge and experience to carry the precise weight, water and UV light protection based on customer needs.

Logo printing

Logos are printed using technologies specified to the application, order size and customer timeline. For small order up to 50 umbrellas we print logos using industrial digital UV Mimaki printers. For larger orders logos are printed using industrial wide format flat screen Zimmer printers. UBC Group uses the newest printing equipment and technology available to ensure that logos stand out, don't fade and last a long time.

How the process to purchase works

  BUY NON-BRANDED PATIO UMBRELLAS

  Breweries or a wholesale customers can order non-branded umbrellas directly from our web site and we will ship to you. It’s as simple as that.

  CONFIRM THE ORDER WITH A DEPOSIT

  All custom umbrella orders require a 50% deposit to start production once we have your approval of the design.

  ADD BRANDING

  Place an order for the product you want customized and then send us your logo or artwork at info@beer-co.ca and we will create the perfect patio umbrella to your exact specifications.

  PRODUCTION BEGINS

  Once we have a deposit and your approval, we put the order into our production queue. Your UBC Group sales representative will send you a receipt and keep you informed on when you should expect your order.

  CREATE A CUSTOM MOCK-UP

  Based on your artwork, we create a mock-up and send it back to you for approval. You can request adjustments based on the colour, placement of images/wording and style of frame until the design is exactly what you want.

  RECEIVE YOUR UMBRELLAS

  You will receive a notice for the final payment to be made and once payment is received in full, we will ship the umbrellas from our warehouse in Mississauga, ON or Surrey, BC to your location. UBC Group will gladly assist you with any questions and support to set up your umbrellas once they arrive!
