A McDantim gas blender is a very accurate and reliable device used primarily in the draught beer industry to mix gases onsite.
Instead of buying expensive, pre-mixed gas cylinders (like "beer gas"), a bar or brewery buys pure CO₂ and pure Nitrogen separately. The McDantim blender takes these two pure gases and mixes them in exact percentages (e.g., 70% CO₂ / 30% Nitrogen) in real-time as the beer is poured.
Why it matters:
- Perfect Carbonation: It prevents beer from going flat or becoming over-carbonated (foamy) in long-draw systems.
- Cost Savings: Pure gas is cheaper than pre-mixed cylinders.

Outlet Pressure: Adjustable outlet pressure of 0-60 psi per blend. Maximum outlet pressure will always be 10 psi lower than the minimum inlet pressure.

- At 70 psi minimum inlet pressure, up to 16 kegs/hour
- At 110 psi minimum inlet pressure, up to 26 kegs/hour
Blender’s High Flow Capacity:
- At 55 psi minimum inlet pressure, up to 20 kegs/hour
- At 70 psi minimum inlet pressure, up to 26 kegs/hour
- At 110 minimum inlet pressure, up to 48 kegs/hour
Accuracy and Flow Range: Maintains accuracy of +/- 2% of full scale or better within the flow range of 0.4 to 40 liters per minute (0.85 to 85 cfh.)
McDantim blenders mix CO₂ and N₂ on demand and are best used for long-draw draft systems. The Single blender comes preset with your custom blends to best fit your system. The panel mounts easily on the wall and is simple to install. With the Single blender, customization of the blends gives you endless options and the flexibility to expand your draft beer selection. You could include low-CO₂-content nitrogenated beers, high-CO₂-content German-style beers, and domestic drafts on one system without the need for additional premixed cylinders.
